Lambert

Lambert, a newlywed, is one of our longtime DO GOOD team members! He is 29 years old, and his favorite scripture is Romans 5:1-12. “DO GOOD is the purpose of God,” Lambert says. “It makes a way and helps the people from Africa with the help of Christians in America.” With the money he has earned from working for DO GOOD, Lambert has purchased livestock and pours back into his community by sharing his produce with those in his village who are in need. After he came to know Jesus in 2008, Lambert says that it now brings him joy to “know how much God loves me and loves other people.” His dream is to become a pastor who brings others to know Christ and to make disciples.

Sam

Samuel is 20 and is one of the newest DO GOOD members. As an artisan, Sam has been working to create something new: the Neza bracelet! Sam says “I chose the name ‘Neza’ because in Kinyarwanda, it means ‘done well’ or ‘nicely,’ and when we make these bracelets, everyone does their very best!” Sam says he has always enjoyed creating. “When I was younger, I loved using my hands to make toys out of paper boxes. When I went to high school, a friend taught me how to make these bracelets.” He says that it was a great feeling to know he could to create something of value. “On a mission trip to Rwanda, the owner of DO GOOD noticed the bracelets I was making and asked me if I would be interested in joining DO GOOD to make them,” Sam says. “I love and enjoy my work at DO GOOD, and I believe God has a lot planned for us here!”
